The T.H.E Equine Edge Calmer Cookies are suitable for all horses and are ideal for situations that can cause stress, anxiety or fear, such as travelling or routine changes. They can also offer peace of mind during vet visits and grooming. These calming cookies are designed to take the edge off and help your horse to remain calm and focused without limiting performance. This palatable cookie can be given like a treat, designed with a blend of high-quality vitamins, minerals and amino acids to improve general health and well-being.
Calmer Cookies utilise L-Tyrosine to produce the neurotransmitter, serotonin, that helps a nervous or anxious horse to focus and feel confident without affecting their ability to compete, this is how they have a calming effect. Can be administered either by hand or directly crumbled into the feed. Additionally, fussy eaters can be encouraged to take the cookie broken up with pieces of carrot or treats. Available in Original, Apple Chip or Mint.
Feeding Guidelines

What's in it
Feed one to three cookies per day to build up a sensation of relaxation for longer-term use.
For occasional use, administer one Cookie 45 minutes prior to the requirement of effects. Top up during the time of requirement, if necessary, with an additional Cookie.
To keep the effects topped up, it is safe to administer up to three Cookies every four hours if required.
We recommend using our Calmer Powder as an initial introduction to bolster the effects, alongside this using the cookies as a top-up when necessary for an even longer-lasting effect.
Please note that every horse is different and will metabolize at different rates, along with differing pre-existing levels of serotonin. This means you may need to administer more than one Cookie to obtain desired effects.
