This Plain Hunt Breastplate is from the Falcon range of bridlewear from Jeffries Saddlery.
It is designed to attach to the D-rings of the saddle, in order to help prevent the saddle from slipping. There is also a ring on the chest where a standing or running martingale can be fitted.
