Weymouth Eggbutt Snaffle Bit

The Weymouth Eggbutt Snaffle Bit is a compact bit that can be used singularly, to suit the more petite headed horse, or teamed with a Weymouth bit to make up a double bridle. This jointed mouthpiece works by applying a mild pressure to both sides of the tongue. The fixed 'eggbutt' cheeks stabilise the bit in the horse's mouth, encouraging the horse to accept the bit and take the contact forward.
