The Sprenger Flex Control Single Jointed Loose Ring Snaffle features a piece of soft flexible rubber covering the joint, making this bit a flexible mullen mouth. This means that it protects the sensitive parts of your horse's mouth whilst providing even pressure distribution over the tongue. This bit supports submissiveness and encourages a contact on sensitive and difficult horses. The mouthpiece is made from Sprenger's Sensogan, a material designed to build upon their original Aurigan material to offer an even more delicate connection to the horse. It has reduced Copper and contains Manganese to regulate the oxidation process more smoothly. This material has been tested in collaboration with the Veterinary University of Medicine Hannover and the German Riding School Warendorf and proven to be exceptionally well tolerated and easy to clean. This rubber on this bit is soft and can be susceptible to chewing.
