The cheeks of the Eggbutt does not create any extra poll pressure and the french link mouthpiece is a good choice if your horse does not like single jointed bits, as it prevents the nutcracker action which can hit the roof of the mouth and pinch the tongue. This bit sits more still in your horse's mouth which is ideal for if your horse is unsure of the bit or if he struggles to maintain a consistent contact. The Eggbutt provides more stability in the mouth which is useful for young horses. Made from the popular stainless steel metal, it is durable, easy to clean, tasteless and does not rust.
