Korsteel's JP Sweet Iron Jointed Loose Ring Snaffle Bit has been developed in conjunction with jockey John Patterson. JP bits have a curved shape that eliminates the nutcracker action, encourages relaxation and avoids putting direct pressure on the tongue. They also prevent the bit from hitting the roof of your horse’s mouth. This jointed bit has loose rings which is ideal for if your horse likes to lean. The rings are crafted from stainless steel to prevent rusting whilst the actual mouthpiece has been designed in Sweet Iron metal. Sweet Iron is created from black iron and copper which slowly oxidises and rusts to produce a sweet taste in your horse's mouth, this encourages salivation and a more relaxed jaw.
