Korsteel's JP Sweet Iron French Link Eggbutt Snaffle is a double jointed bit that acts on the tongue and the bars of the mouth whilst the sweet iron metal encourages the horse to accept the bit and the contact by increasing salivation. The metal oxidises in the mouth which produces a 'sweet' taste. The JP french link features the famous curve, designed to be gentle on the bars of the mouth, whilst not putting direct pressure on the tongue. It also eliminates the nutcracker and palate action of a single jointed bit. The Eggbutt is ideal if your horse needs support provided by a fixed ring bit. The curved action allows more room for your horse's tongue and consequently sits more comfortably in the mouth.
