Korsteel JP French Link Three Ring Dutch Gag Bit is milder on the horse's mouth than a single-jointed gag, due to the central link reducing the nutcracker action on the tongue and roof of the mouth. The main action this bit has is on the poll of your horse. The amount of poll pressure can be increased by attaching the reins to the bottom rings which consequently makes the bit stronger, which can be useful for different disciplines. This bit can be used with one rein, two reins or with roundings. The JP curve design stops the bit from hitting the roof of your horse's mouth and allows more room for your horse's tongue. It ensures that there is no direct pressure on the tongue or bars of the mouth which encourages your horse to relax.
