The Jeffries Slotted Kimblewick Bit by Eldonian features slotted D-rings which are ideal for use on horses that require more poll pressure. In contrast to a standard Kimblewick, the slotted cheeks refine the level of poll pressure to be applied - with the top slot providing a little curb pressure and the bottom slot applying much more. The slots promote a fixed rein action and when placed in curb position, the bit becomes strong. It is ideal for experienced riders to gain additional control through lowering the horse's head.
