Hilton Herbs Slippery Elm Powder is rich in mucilage which soothes the digestive system. Can be given internally to horses or dogs, and can be used externally as part of a poultice or compress. Contains only pure slippery elm powder.
Feeding Guidelines
Add to feed on a daily basis, if possible splitting the required amount between two feeds.
Horses: 10 to 20 grams daily (one 15ml scoop = approx 5.2 grams).
Dogs: Small: ½ to 1 teaspoon. Medium: 1 to 1½ teaspoons. Large: 1 to 2 teaspoons.
Allow up to one month for benefits to be seen. It is worth starting with a lower amount for this effective, gentle herb.
