Usage Instructions

Versatile for daily routine disinfection use in all livestock facilities, stables, kennels, markets, holding pens, transport and veterinary.

To use tablets:

Achieve accurate dosing by simply adding the required number of tablets to the specified volume of warm water (40⁰C) for the required application, see the tables here.

The surface should be clean and free from dirt or soiled materials before using Dis-in-fect.

Thoroughly wet the cleaned surface with the disinfection solution by the most suitable means, such as a low pressure trigger spray or a clean disposable cloth. Leave to dry naturally. Do not rinse. Equipment Surfaces which come into intimate contact with your horse, will require rinsing with clean potable water before re-use.

Dis-in-fect is DEFRA approved for general orders at a dilution rate of 1 Dis-in-fect tablet to 1.7 litres of water or 3 tablets in 5 litres. Independent testing commissioned by AGMA Limited has shown that Dis-in-fect is effective against both Strangles and Ringworm at the following dilution rates:

Strangles: Add 1 Dis-in-fect tablet to 0.9 litres of water or 6 tablets in 5 litres.

Ringworm: Add 2 Dis-in-fect tablets to 0.9 litres of water or 12 tablets in 5 litres.

Many disinfectants are deactivated by organic matter means that cleaning with a detergent prior to using the disinfectant is a very important stage of the disinfecting process. It is therefore recommended that prior to using Stablemate Dis-in-fect that a detergent clean is performed. Stablemate cleaning products Cleanse or Boxfresh are ideal.
