The Scourier Bit from Eldonian has a twisted mouth piece and four rings - two inside rings, which attach to the cheek pieces and two outside rings, which attach to the reins.
When the reins are pulled, strong pressure is applied to the sides of the horses mouth.
This bit can be severe so should only be used in experienced hands.
