Glucose is the most important energy source for horses during exercise. Low blood glucose levels are associated with fatigue and reduced performance, and maintaining blood glucose levels is especially important during prolonged exercise, when competing and for horses that are lacking in energy. Feeding Guidelines
Mix the recommend daily amounts thoroughly with the feed.
To boost energy add the required amount in feed approximately 2 - 4 hours before exercise:
Pony - approximately 250kg feed 2 scoops per day.
Horse - approximately 500kg feed 3 to 4 scoops per day.
Large horse - approximately 750kg feed 3 to 4 scoops per day.
For stamina or to aid recovery use daily in feed up to the maximum daily dose:
Pony - approximately 250kg feed 2 to 3 scoops per day.
Horse - approximately 500kg feed 2 to 4 scoops per day.
Large horse - approximately 750kg feed 2 to 4 scoops per day.
