Highly palatable and fully balanced, this is a fantastic product for replacing the electrolytes the horse loses during exercise. Loss of electrolytes can severely limit the horse's performance during competitions and choosing less palatable electrolytes can irritate the stomach and intestines. Electrolytes aid the nerve, digestive, muscle, kidney, lung and heart function and help to maintain normal hydration. Can be used regularly as well as during competition.
Feeding Guidelines
Syringe:
This product can be used daily or following hard work, or excessive sweating, for example during or following transport. Also suitable for administration during prolonged exercise or competition. Always ensure unlimited access to water.
Per 60g syringe EnerGex delivers 40g of slow release, complex carbohydrate.
Pony - approximately 250kg feed ½ syringe.
Horse - approximately 500kg feed 1 syringe.
Large Horse - over 750kg feed 1 syringe.
Tub:
Mix thoroughly with feed and split between meals where possible.
Maintenance / Light Work:
Pony - approximately 250kg feed ½ scoop per day.
Horse - approximately 500kg feed 1 scoop per day.
Large Horse - over 750kg feed 1 ½ scoops per day.
Moderate Work:
Pony - approximately 250kg feed 1 scoop per day.
Horse - approximately 500kg feed 1 ½ scoops per day.
Large Horse - over 750kg feed 2 scoops per day.
Hard Work / Hot Weather:
Pony - approximately 250kg feed 2 scoops per day.
